The Data Fluencies Project
Hosted at Simon Fraser University's Digital Democracies Institute
“Data Fluencies” is the combination of analytical techniques from arts and humanities, with tools from data science, to better understand and engage with our data-filled world. Hosted at the Digital Democracies Institute at Simon Fraser University, the project’s first iteration began in July 2022 as Data Fluencies 1.0. We launched Data Fluencies 2.0 in July 2025, which will run until June 2028.
